Bob & Stephanie Johnson - lead church planters

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9

This Scripture addresses the moment when Joshua had assumed the lead of the Israelite people after the death of Moses. I am confident there were moments of questioning, concern, fear and loneliness. Then God speaks into his life with what might be the greatest pep talk ever recorded...and Joshua finds the supernatural motivation to rally the people and get moving in just a few days. What had taken place over their last 40 years was now going to be finished in 3 remarkable days. The news spread like wildfire through the Israelite camp...and the servants of God were ready to follow Joshua across the Jordan River into the new land where God’s great love, mercy and grace would establish itself for generations to come.

Bob - Growing up in Lake Grove, Oregon for over 18 years and now residing in Canby, Oregon since 2005...he has come to appreciate the land that we live in. Having moved to Southern California to do his undergraduate work (B.A. Degree) at Hope International University in Preaching & Youth Ministry; East Tennessee to fulfill his Masters of Divinity work in Church Growth & New Testament History at Emmanuel School of Religion; Arizona to be on staff at one of our more innovative mega-churches at Central Christian Church in Mesa; and then stops back in California and Oregon...he believes his “40+ Years” of “wandering” has uniquely prepared him to cross the Willamette River and establish a new work in the Tualatin/Wilsonville area. This land too is a special place where God’s great love, mercy and grace will be established for generations to come.

Stephanie - Originally a California girl who grew up on the Central Coast of California and then moved to the Central Valley, she has become accustomed to moving into new communities and making it “home.” Having graduated from Cal State Bakersfield with a focus on Business Management, she has navigated 2 family businesses with care and excellence. Now living in Oregon since 2007, she has integrated into the PNW way of life perfectly by rooting wholeheartedly for the Portland Trail Blazers and becoming an avid golfer. But, her first love is Jesus which is on full display as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship and accepting the call to plant a church in Wilsonville.

The Mission - Bridging the stories of broken and busy people to live intentionally in Jesus everyday.
